Editorial Policy

How SurviveGG turns game facts into recommendations and practical guides.

Recommendation pages

We rank by fit for the query, not by a universal score. A co-op page should care about group size and shared progression; a horror page should care about scarcity and pressure; a platform page should care about what is actually useful on that platform.

Facts vs. recommendations

Platforms, modes, release information and major systems should be checked against official stores, developer pages or first-party sources where possible. “Best for” and “skip if” are editorial judgments.

Updates

Pages should be re-checked after major patches, platform releases or changes that materially affect the recommendation. We show an updated date only when a real review pass has happened.

Images

SurviveGG uses official promotional or store imagery as visual reference where appropriate and should not copy editorial images from competing publications.

Trend radar

SurviveGG also reviews rising search questions and major game updates. A trend does not automatically create a new URL: we update an existing page when the intent is the same, and only create a new page when the player question is meaningfully different.
